FAQs

How much editorial control will I have?

It's your film. You can decide the type of film you would like. After filming you can choose specific aspects to include or exclude. Our aim is to create a film you will enjoy.

How long will the film be?

We can make it long or short depending on the style of film you want. Most are between twenty-five and sixty minutes long. It is usually split into different sections and chapters.

Can I include old photographs?

Yes this can really enhance a film.

Can you edit footage recorded in the past into a film?

Yes we generally can. Contact maria@juleberry.com for further details.

What about locations?

Filming usually takes place in your own home. We also film at events and on club and society premises. For these we recommend that you get written permission for filming so that you are not refused access on the day.

How long will it take to make the film?

We film over one day and will send your film to you within four weeks.

What kind of equipment do you use?

We use broadcast quality digital cameras and equipment.

What format will it be on?

Your film will be recorded onto DVD of which you will receive 3 copies. If you would prefer VHS or would like a mixture of both this can be negotiated.

How will our confidentially be maintained?

All films are edited on our premises and are sent straight to you.

Are there any special preparations I need to make?

The main one to think about is sound. Poor sound quality can ruin a film. The hum from a fridge, people making noise in other parts of the house or the noise of a neighbour's lawnmower can take from the quality.
